Emerging Star33_Pruning Season
On my last job I happened to be on set with some incredible American actors shooting for a TV series. I observed how most of them used their technique to diminish the frequency of their energy during the scene and how this informed the quality and tone of their speech. This was my main focus while working last week on the ‘Hispanic sketchy swindler’ for today’s audition.
-Hello, my agent is…. was the only thing I managed to say in front of the camera before Camden’s Tree Shredding Team started with the pruning scheme of shrubs and trees this morning in the surroundings of the Casting Director’s office.

La última vez que rodé en un set me fijé muy de cerca el trabajo de dos actores con los que compartía escena. Estos dos gringos utilizaban su técnica para reducir considerablemente la frecuencia de su energía delante de la cámara de tal manera que hasta el texto vibraba de otra manera. Este fue el trabajo en el que me enfoqué para preparar el personaje del ‘estafador hispano’ de la prueba de hoy.
-Hola, mi representante es… fue lo único que alcancé a decir delante de la cámara y del director de casting, esta mañana, antes de que el Equipo de Trepa y Poda del ayuntamiento de Camden llegara a los alrededores de su oficina para comenzar con la campaña de primavera.
